OGG is an open container usually holding Vorbis or Opus audio. You'll find it in game files, Linux recorders, some voice-message apps and audio from open-source software.
It is a good format, but iPhones, many car stereos and plenty of editors don't open it. Converting to MP3 trades nothing you'd hear for a file that plays anywhere.
Several files? Add them all and they convert one after another. Safari can't read every OGG file; Chrome, Edge and Firefox can.
