Raise or lower a song by semitones, and speed it up or slow it down to a new BPM. Pitch and tempo move separately: change the key without changing the speed, or the speed without changing the key.

Most speed changers also change the pitch: a song that is sped up gets higher, and a slowed one gets lower. This tool works differently. It first stretches the audio to the new length with a phase vocoder, which keeps the pitch, and then moves the pitch by resampling.
One semitone is the smallest step between two neighbouring keys on a piano, and 12 semitones make an octave. Large moves of 6 or more semitones sound like a different voice, because the formants move with the pitch.
Phase vocoders can sound slightly smeared on drums and on very large stretches. Small moves, within a few semitones and about 25 percent of the tempo, keep the best quality. For a dreamier or faster feel, try the slowed + reverb or nightcore makers. To find the key of a song first, use the key finder.
